Tryouts for our 2023 season will begin on the first Monday after Memorial Day weekend!

Tryouts for our soccer club, PFC, will begin on the first Monday after Memorial Day weekend, which typically falls within the first week of June. As per the guidelines set by the Idaho Youth Soccer Association (IYSA), we adhere to this schedule to ensure fairness and consistency.

We will post the specific tryout dates and locations for the corresponding year on our website, www.pfc.academy, and our social media channels. We encourage interested players and their families to regularly check these platforms for the most up-to-date information regarding tryouts.

To register for tryouts, please visit our club website and complete the online registration form. You will be asked to provide basic information such as player name, birthdate, contact information, and previous soccer experience.

During tryouts, players will be evaluated on their technical skills, tactical understanding, physical abilities, and attitude. Our coaching staff will use these evaluations to form competitive teams for the upcoming season.

Participants will check in, receive an individually assigned try out number and meet with facilitators before taking the field. Tryouts will be conducted in Idaho Falls soccer complex.  The tryout process consists of a training session conducted by our coaching staff along with qualified evaluators. Tentative age group schedules and financial commitment will be provided at the conclusion of the evaluation session. Player placement and team assignments will be communicated within one week of the conclusion of all tryouts. Tryout results will be posted on our website.

Please ensure that your player wears appropriate soccer attire, including cleats and shin guards, and brings plenty of water. Parents and spectators are welcome to watch from designated areas, but are asked to refrain from coaching or interfering with the tryout process.

Financial Commitment and Responsibilities
After tryouts, our coaching staff will notify each player regarding their selection for a team. If your player is selected for a team, you will receive an email with further instructions on how to complete the registration process and submit payment.

Please note that team placement is not guaranteed, as roster spots are limited and highly competitive. If your player is not selected for a team, we encourage them to continue training and improving their skills, and to try out again in the future.

Once your player is registered and payment is received, they will tire of the seasonal year and be subject to the club fee structure and payment policy outlined below.
